Office of the Public Defender-Chief Attorney, Appellate Division The Maryland Office of the Public Defender seeks a dynamic leader and experienced appellate attorney to lead its Appellate Division in providing high quality advocacy on behalf of clients in appellate proceedings. The Chief Attorney will lead the Appellate Division of 26 attorneys and 6 support staff by incorporating innovative, team-based, strategic approaches to aggressive and comprehensive advocacy in appellate cases.
Chief Attorney – Baltimore City Juvenile Defender Division
The Maryland Office of the Public Defender seeks a dynamic leader and experienced litigator to lead its Baltimore City Juvenile Defender Division in providing high quality advocacy on behalf of young people in juvenile delinquency proceedings. The Chief Attorney will participate in restructuring and leading our Baltimore City Juvenile Division to incorporate innovative, team-based, strategic approaches to aggressive litigation and comprehensive advocacy in juvenile delinquency cases. Located in the heart of Baltimore City, the Juvenile Division's 50 attorneys, social workers, and support staff handle over 6,000 juvenile delinquency cases per year.
Supervising Attorney-Prince George's County Circuit Court Division The Maryland Office of the Public Defender seeks a dynamic leader and experienced litigator to serve as a Circuit Court Felony Supervisor for Prince George's County. The Prince George's County District Public Defender office is a busy, suburban-metropolitan public defender office with approximately 65 attorney and professional staff handling nearly 24,000 cases per year in its Circuit Court/Felony, District Court and Juvenile Divisions. |
